Legal Network on Disability (LNoD)

LNoD is a collaboration between the Law Society’s recognised group on disability issues, GSD, and one of the country’s leading disability equality consultancies which is a community interest company owned and run for the benefit of the disabled community, Equal Ability CIC As such this network is supremely well placed to provide the legal profession with an effective arena to explore disability issues and find fitting ways to increase valued involvement of disabled people as clients, employees and other stakeholders.

Membership of LNoD will assist those in the legal profession not only to meet their obligations to clients and staff under the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 as amended, and professional practice regulations such as the Law Society’s anti-discrimination Rule 6 It will also enable a clear view to be developed of the real practice benefits of providing effective equality for disabled people.

By supporting LNoD you are supporting the disabled community and disabled lawyers, through them the wider community and legal profession as a whole.
