When is the conference being held?

What access does the venue and its accommodation have for people with impairments?

The venue is the Holiday Inn Bloomsbury, London, winner of the 2007 Meetings & Incentive Travel Industry Award for best access for disabled guests. For more information about this hotel, please click here (external site).  The access needs of disabled delegates will be catered for as far as we reasonably can given sufficient notice.  Please complete the appropriate section on the booking form.

Will it entitle me to CPD hours?

Solicitors will be able to claim up to 8 CPD hours depending upon which parts are attended.  For CPD for other professions please contact gsd@equalability.com and we will investigate accreditation.
 

How much does attendance of the conference cost?

Attendance costs differ depending on which parts of the Conference you wish to attend and whether you are a GSD member attending as a delegate - see booking form

How do I apply to attend the conference?

To register as a delegate complete the application form online, available here: or contact us directly (see below) should you require assistance or alternative formats.

I cannot get to the Conference but I should like to know what happens.  Is this possible?

There will be a Conference Report published and The Bridge, GSD's journal, at the end of March will focus on the Conference and the Disability Equality Duty.  Email gsd@equalability.com to express interest in receiving these.
